RRA website reports on flooding

I would like to say how useful are Phil Thomas' updates on the A22 flooding. Also to express sympathy for all those affected by it.
Thanks Phil

Thanks Nick. Hopefully residents are finding it useful as it is having an impact on Riddlesdown, in particular with buses on diversion and road closures. But as you say, the RRA also express sympathy to all those affected by flooding in the Caterham/Kenley/Purley Bourne valley and now the Coulsdon Bourne which apparently is also now starting to flood.

For those who are interested, there is an interesting history of the Caterham Bourne which can be found on the “Bourne Society” website. It is titled “A celebration of the Bourne” (click on the next link at the bottom right side of each of their pages, to continue the story: http://www.bournesociety.org.uk/bournesoc/a-celebration-of-the-bourne.html
